We want to be sure that the prospect feels as though we work directly for the studio, not an outsourced company. To do that, we take our time during the onboarding call to discuss your brand -what sets you apart from the photographer down the street and we make sure that prospects know that when we talk with them.
We are not sure you should. 😊 There are only two reasons to work with an outside company – you don’t have time yourself or you don’t have the knowledge to do the work yourself already. If either of those sound like you, we may have something to talk about. We start with a 30-45 call where you tell me about your business, where you are today and what your goals are. I will then tell you about Focus on Your Photos and how I think we may be a fit or if we are not a fit, I will explain why. It’s a mutual decision to work together.
When we get leads in house, we contact them 13 times through email, text or phone calls over the following 9 weeks. You’ve already paid for the lead; we want to be sure that we are trying to contact them as much as we can until they either say they are not interested, or they talk with us to book a session.
Once we are up and going on the phone calls, we have a separate meeting to go over Ordering Sessions. We outline the requirements from your side on the deliverables from our side. You explain all of your artwork collections/offerings to me so that we can explain them to the clients in real time on the session.
Always a great question! Focus on Your Photos is 100% performance based from our clients to us and from us to our team internally. Money is motivating for salespeople! For the appointment setting what that means for you is that you only pay us if we set a portrait session. It doesn’t matter how long it took us to get there – 4 hours of calls or 30 minutes of calls -it’s the same cost to you. For the ordering sessions, we do have a minimum per session or a percentage of the sale, whichever is greater. Still performance based, but it does come with a minimum per session.
We do have a contract for each of our artists. It walks through all the situations we have come across in our years in this business and keeps both of us on the same page. Expectations are important! There is term for the contract and it can be canceled by either party at any time. Again, we want to be sure that these are mutually beneficial relationships.
